The answer was quite clear. There is no money left for furlough. We all live with it.

Strange is it not how quiet many of the usually furiously loud and very, very certain of themselves TDLers on here have been this past week or so?

"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

Roy. That is the best thing you have ever posted and I agree with it 100%

I like how the Johnson Tories are all about the court of public and ‘what I think the people of this country want…’ until something like this and then we should all wait for the results of the investigation.

I love the Cold War Steve cartoon linked earlier in the thread.

I do also wonder about how so many people who have been able to navigate life with a modicum of competence choose to join Team Johnson. Cummings, Johnson’s second wife, Stratton et al. It is so obviously going to end badly for them. It was the same in the US with Trump.

'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.

The problem for De Pfeffel is that they are not laughing with him but at him.

Well without getting too immersed into this, the poster in question whose name I won't mention has numerous accounts on here whom I'm sure your aware is not backwards in coming forwards in his condemnation of your club or it's posters, if your not sure ask Cokey or Budgie and it's not his style to compliment a Leyther and being a cynic I expected a less than complimentary reply to yours, nothing personal hope that clears it up.

Maybe he/them have turned over a new leaf and are going to settle into a sensible person/personna.
