...and the women who wear tweed skirts (long), and blue crew neck jumpers with a blouse collar stood up underneath it - usually to be found organising something in the village hall.

I wonder if that chubby Union guy, doing a very good beached whale impersonation on that Brazilian beach, spared a thought for the chaos and misery some have had to endure in the Capital.
