I was wondering why this wasnt on the other music thread. Then I remembered what Moyles was like.

Does Pete Tong still do that god-awful 'drive time' show on Fridays? It used to be the one time I'd regularly be in a car and having the radio on, only to be met by music that belongs in clubs not radio, presented by a middle-aged man desperately trying to sound cool, with an IQ slightly below the average hamster. Scratch that - just Wikid it and seems he's been gone for years, although the dance stuff is still on and one of the most popular shows? Mind-boggling. Who actually listens to that sort of music on a radio? Twelve-year olds?

Never listened to Moyles. Saw him once on TV and changed channels after two minutes ... that was more than enough. Radio One is supposed to be for young people anyway, so I'll stick with the irritating Naughtie and Humphries on R4.

We know a song about this don't we?
Quote: When I wake up... Yea I know I'm going to be, I'm going to be that man who switches Chris Moyles off But I would walk 500 moyles And I would walk 500 more Just to be that man who walks a thousand moyles not to have to listen to that fat twwat

I have to update my previous comment about being horrified about Chris Moyles being cast as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar. He was brilliant.

Moyles' JCS performance can be found on a well known video sharing website. It may have been better seeing it in person, but from the recording I have seen he is not strong enough as a singer or performer to carry the scene.

Mike d'Abo is the best King Herod I've heard from all the different recording outs there

Not sure about 'Grimmy', seems ok. When he gets celebs to phone other celebs winding them up is hilarious however.
