You've just embarassed yourself by stating that people who choose to share their love with someone of the same sex are equivilant to those who take a life or violate others against their will. Any credability you may have had just flew out the window.
Both are acts which condemn us to Hell. Sin is sin.

Nobody has equated christianity with bigotry. However those christians who oppose equal rights for gays certainly are bigots. Nobody, however has suggested that the many christians who have no problem with gay marriage or homosexuality in general are bigots.

The Bible does not say how old the Earth is. Some scholars have made their own calculations using genealogy and other historical events, which is where the 6000 figure comes from. However I don't think the Bible is clear on the issue.
That said, I believe humans were made in their present form (God's image).

If I don't believe in heaven guess what? I don't believe in hell either. I chose to be accountable in this life and not live in fear of the ever decreasing unknown that the majority of world religions prey upon for their loyalty. The dark ages were a long time ago. As with marriage, morality existed long before people tried to dictate their own version of it through religious doctrine. Do you honestly think the early christians would recognise what you claim to be christianity. Evolution is a beautiful thing yet some christian would like to believe that doesn't exist either.

That doesn't matter. If a convicted drug-dealer says he doesn't believe in prison, does that make the punishment go away?

That is the very definition of self-righteousness.

My faith is firmly grounded in the Pentecost and the early church.

Including me, but being a beautiful concept does not make it real.

and radiometric date places the earth age at 4.5billion years. Please tell me you accept darwinian theory of evolution instead of some garden of eden fairy story

Somehow I don't think we'll be alone in our sarcasm. It just points to your organisation's lack of any coherent argument.
And in case anyone is interested, I really do share the same postcode as David Cameron.
Honest, I really, really do
