Whelan is a very experienced and successful businessman who is probably speaking from his own experience. Buying merchandise in China is probably a tougher proposition than buying it in Europe - so what? Country is going to the dogs

I don't offended when people describe Yorkshiremen as Scots with the generosity removed - what is the difference? I am sure some man of Yorkshire will be offended with the negative stereotype. Does that mean it should never be used? Where do you stop?
I am sure Whelan will not be unduly financially put out by the loss of shirt sponsor.

Simple trick to it really, imagine the person you want to insult is a white Londoner, an agnostic, dressed in a business suit, and a man, then insult them based on their actual behaviour. I wouldn't have a problem with that. I hate cockney w********rs anyway. Oops.
