That cant be right. There are more people in work in the UK at the moment than ever before, although this doesn't take account of the poor folk that may have 2 or 3 jobs, just to try and cover their cost of living or, in your world, to pay for fags, booze and a gambling habit. Sorry, I forgot that you've NEVER read the Daily Mail or Express

I never read the Mail or Express, if you want to discuss if the minimum wage is high enough then that is a worthy debate, but for people to simply state "the wealthy should pay more tax", if they paid more tax it would only be squandered on pet projects and overseas aid.

I am more insulted by your assumption that the rich work harder for their money. But not surprised.

She doesn't even tell her own cabinet what she is negotiating with the EU, keeps Parliament at arms length, but then blames MPs for her own shortcomings. Completely lacking in respect, class & integrity.

Overseas aid doesn’t increase and decrease with tax revenues, it is fixed at 0.7% of GDP, which is the United Nations target.
Multi national companies should pay more tax, they have seen their tax rates repeatedly cut since 2010, while austerity has been forced on the poorest in society.
