He was replying to his opposite number, proclaiming the end of austerity and wanting us to be grateful for offering to replace the 18,000 policemen that had been culled under austerity and be grateful again for nearly getting spending per pupil back to where it was 10 years ago.

Where do we go with one of Corbyn's "top table" on QT last night. Always full of waffle, she said that Labour would campaign for Brexit, put their option to the people and SHE would vote against their own "leave" agreement. WTF is going on in the world of Emily Thornbury
