Anyway, back on topic.
Durham police have determined that Cummings did not break lockdown rules by travelling from London to isolate, but the trip to Barnard Castle 'might have been a minor breach', which basically means if he'd been stopped he wouldn't have been charged or fined, only instructed to return home. Pretty much what I've been saying, then. No retrospective action to be taken, which is consistent with their enforcement policies.
Can we now move on and start concerning ourselves with stuff that matters? 100,000 deaths in the US? Possible international travel from July/Aug? More jobs going at Easyjet? The start of track and trace?
Why so interested? - ah yes, the judgemental left obsessed with a person's origins.
Or is it if it's a nice neighbourhood you and your smackrat mates can carry on breaking lockdown rules and come over trying car doors?
Or your slightly more well to do neighbour, sodding of to Durham for a jolly up on his wife's birthday, you know, the one that can manage 5 hours in the motor, without needing to take a leak. It seems that despite his press conference in the gardens of No 10, he DID break the rules but, as it's Dom and the moment has passed, it's ok
I know that we're all supposed to move on now but, you do wonder if he got chance to discuss the new track and trace system with his sister, who's company has the contract ??
There are indeed some strange things going on in Downing Street at present.
An unelected adviser running the show, pushing the old chancellor out of no 11 - he at least had the balls to resign when things weren't being done properly. WE are getting closer and closer to a dictatorship, led by Cummings and Johnson - in that order
I know that you will turn a blind eye as they're true blue but, hopefully, there will be enough members of the press that aren't intimidated and the truth will out, eventually.
What about 60,000 deaths in the U.K. and those that received fines for doing what Cummings did without any chance of recourse. With regards the already failing test and trace how will you know when you receive a call out of the blue that it is the official operating not just scammers.

Yes Boris, let's move on from an un-elected linchpin of this Government getting off scot-free, how about why has this country recorded the highest excess death rate in the world due to Covid-19!
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!

Nope. Wrong. Stop spreading fake news.
If you're talking about the Non-Exec Director Alice Cummings at the software company Idox who went viral over the same claim, you're utterly wrong.
Nor are Idox even involved in the track & trace app.
Do try harder. The hysteria is getting to you.

Oh give over. I have a damn sight more respect for Johnson not backing down to the press hysteria. You hate it, the press hate it, just as you all also hate Cummings for obvious reasons. That's why I love it.
The funny thing is I'm not even a Dominic Cummings fan. He's never been of much interest beyond knowing what he does.
Dictatorship deary me today

Nope wrote when the system actually works they contact you and should you doubt what they say they provide you with another number to ring to confirm their legitimacy. The problem is that the scammers operate the same way so not the guarantee of security you believe it is but hey if they contacted you and asked for your personal details I am sure you would gladly provide it because the Confuseatives can do no wrong. The app which is of course different from the one in Germany only works on phones less than three years old and those that have an acceptable level of iOS on their phones. The German’s initially worked on their own app but quickly realised the complications this produced so switched to the Apple system like many other countries.
With regards the fact that the press have been unfair to Cummings I highlighted the Mail’s false reporting of Stymer which you glossed over because you do not read this paper, rather concentrating on the Mirror or Guardian. The problem is that the correct facts and the Mail’s error was highlighted but I suppose that was just one of those days you didn’t happen to read the story or could it be it did not suit your agenda. I have noticed like many on the forum who support the Confuseatives you resort to insults in an attempt to get the thread closed down.
