Unfortunately may is a weak prime minister. She is definitely not a conservative, she is following on in Cameron’s footsteps. He was a big fan of Blair, so converted the tories into a European style socialist democrat party. She has carried on with this theme. Remember as Home Secretary she virtually abolished stop and search. Part of the knife crime carnage in London is down to her weakness. Not forgetting citizen khans woeful term as London mayor. Both main political parties are weak and have cornered the market in dimwits. The majority seem to be in the Labour Party. Heaven help this country if jezza and his Trotsky/Marx comrades come to power. Jus remember what Winston Churchill said of socialism “ it’s a philosophy of failure the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy. It’s inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery “

I also remember what he said about the Conservatives. "A party of great vested interests, banded together in a formidable confederation, corruption at home, aggression to cover it up abroad...sentiment by the bucketful, patriotism by the imperial pint, the open hand at the public exchequer, the open door at the public house, dear food for the millions, cheap labour for the millionaire."
“At last, a real, Tory budget,” Daily Mail 24/9/22 "It may be that the honourable gentleman doesn't like mixing with his own side … but we on this side have a more convivial, fraternal spirit." Jacob Rees-Mogg 21/10/21

So it looks like May maybe taking us to war with Syria without consulting parliament. I have a feeling this may end up being more of an Iraq than a Falklands or Kosovo. Surely, we should wait until we heat the evidence that a chemical attack has been carried out, especially after the last one was proven to be false.

I hope she sees sense. Russia would utterly destroy us in a war.
And please, before someone links some daily mail propoganda about Russia’s ageing aircraft carrier fleet, just don’t and actually do your own research

Ramping up the level of conflict in Syria, against Russia and without any parliamentary debate is just lunacy. Eventually we will always follow the US, the price that we have to pay to maintain the "special relationship" but, to start launching missiles at Assaad is futile, it wont achieve anything and it will change nothing, just like the last time.

It's fine bombing Arab countries several thousand miles away who have no chance of direct retaliation, but should one Russian be killed in those bombings then we are in a whole new, terrifying ball game.
