You invented an imaginary, hypothetical figure of 50 million that Ashley might receive to argue the toss.
You made it up, it's bollox, a hand detonated BS bomb thrown in by yourself.
From what I've read the shareholders knocked him back on half that amount.
Do you, or do you not think SD's intended bonus scheme to it's employees is commendable?
I do not know whether SD's bonus scheme is good or bad. In the headlines it's sounds great. On deeper reading it sounds like it's a bonus scheme that will massively benefit a lot of already very well paid people, maybe some lucky long time shop workers, but the vast majority of the employees will get nothing out of it and will be just hoping that they don't get their hours cut down to zero.
If I was a board member and I was pocketing a million I'd be celebrating. If I was a hardworking, minimum wage zero hours worker who busted by ass last year I'd feel like a mug and look for somewhere new to work.
Without having access to the entire details of the scheme I cannot judge. Judging by the headlines means it looks great. The deeper facts it just looks like the rich get richer and the poor worker gets screwed.
From where I'm sitting, it just sounds very fishy. But the truth is that I don't know and I probably never will be in a position to receive enough of the details to properly judge.
