So what happens when the UKIP councillor in Hull stands up at the next meeting and demands that the UK withdraw from the EU and but up barriers to immigration with immediate effect and is reminded that actually they were debating the issue of the state of the bus shelters on the Bransholme estate?

I'd guess the bus shelters have been a mess for years? In which case they may as we'll talk about something that could be changed.

there isn't one, not when someone has commented, just have to take it on the chin sir!#

posting the same thing a few times is less objectionable to clearly being a troll with an agenda, ala Dally.

You are assuming that the UPRIK councillor will actually turn up, debate and vote. That, given UPRIK's previous in democratic engagement, is a pretty substantial leap of faith

I thought you were just accurately reproducing the decision making process within a local council.

IMO this attempt by the establishment to demonize UKIP only egged on people who hate the establishment to vote for them! I know several people who normally don't bother voting turning out to vote and 'stick two fingers up' at the main three parties. I don't know anybody personally who voted for any of the 'main three' parties.
