Avoid Warrington town centre like the plague.
It's chockablock with angry 18 year-olds, thinking they're big town gangsters, going out into town at midnight full of cheap vodka and recreational pharmacuticals.

In the past fortnight, I've heard of 2 seperate incidents, where innocent people have had their drinks "spiked", and then had the poo kicked out of them. One such incident involved a man and a woman in their early 30's (hardly a threat to anyone).
Warrington USED to be a fantastic night out. Now,it's been sadly ruined, with E'd up CHAVS, who just want to fight the world.

I agree Lefty, Wire and Wigan both used to be a good night out, Wigan is currently marginally better than Wire now but both are full of angry kids now.

Manchester over Liverpool, Chester's a good shout.

London, nah, it's too spread out.

I enjoyed Sheffield and Leeds last year, loved Leeds actually.

Leeds is very good, as is Newcastle.

Manchester all the time.

Sounds like Warrington is a bit like a larger scale version of somewhere a bit closer to home.

Liverpool 'til the last train and then finishing off in Chester, that'll do for me...

Just another question, we'll be off to Liverpool then back to Chester late on, so that's sorted.

However, I've never done Liverpool in an afternoon-night before - just at night.

Where will be best for the afternoon, Concert Square or Mathew Street? Where will most pubs generally be open?
