Sadly, you need them. Pretty much anyone reading this thread can see that you're an idiot and I'm slapping you around.

Now, I don't need people to defend me because I can READ and UNDERSTAND our discussions. You do need someone to tell you that you are stupid. But the problem is that it's kind of awkward to tell people that they're thick. So they just step back and feel bad for you. While also thinking that you should have spent more time in school and less time sniffing glue.

All bollox, but you seem intent on bigging yourself up, so be it, congratulations.

Quote:The employees of SD have had a bumper windfall. That's great for them. Right now.

Agreed.

Quote:The details of whether that is actually so great are hidden behind the headlines. The fact that Ashley's first concern was his own pocket suggests something might be amiss.

And for all the bollox you've spouted perhaps there's nothing amiss?
Perhaps he just feels like redistributing some of his companies record earnings amongst his excellent staff?
Perhaps the tax-man would gobble it up otherwise?

And yes, businessmen/company owners are generally concerned with their own pockets, it's generally why they do what they do.
Didn't you know that?

If next month it emerges that Ashley took home a 50m bonus in his scheme I think he'll be very pleased that the people are as stupid as you.

It's no longer a publicly quoted company, we (the public) shouldn't give a damn what happens to the profits. The only person that will be concerned is the taxman and given all the attendant publicity, I can't imagine Ashley trying to pull a fast one there. Unlike Philip Green, who managed to channel all profits through his Monaco-based wife, simply to avoid UK tax.

One thing is for sure, when the SD employees start spending their money, it's a fair bet that money will be spent in the UK, so stimulating the economy

I don't want people coming to my defence, unlike you, you stupid little fookwit moron.
You're making things up, again, about any bodily functions I might, or might not be be carrying out.

Whether I agree or disagree with your perception of why Ashley is awarding a minimum of 43K to his employees is totally irrelevant.
Like Coddy says it properly suits the company for tax efficiency purposes, but I'll applaud him b'cos I don't know of many other companies who give half their employees who earn under 20 k a year a 43 k bonus, do you?

 Nice bit of abuse there. Wonder if the mods will act?

Did you miss the initial stupid and retard comments? :D

I like a bit of redistribution of slagging.
Were all big boys and girls on here aren't we?

Apart from you, of course Ajw. :D

All abuse of people on internet forums is pathetic. Just shows that your inability to be able to construct an argument.

I have abused many people on here.

Calling your arguments retarded and stupid isn't abuse, it's the truth.

I believe I offer reasoned opinions on here. I prefer to debate facts.

If someone ignores the facts and chooses to have a cheap dig into my ribs, I'll try and break his/her nose.

How far am I willing to go? Way too far.

But I don't think I've too often gone too far on anyone who hasn't been asking for it.

That statement is reminiscient of Brian London's after he fought Cassius Clay

You're a fooking loony.
It was you who came on here talking fooking gibberish about BS bombs exploding everywhere.
I praised Ashley for rewarding his staff with a 43k bonus to which you took exception citing ulterior motives.
Fair enough, but don't start feeling sorry for yourself, and crying like a little girl.

Sweet dreams. :)
