No they were defending the lies that are being peddled by Labour - whether that was the right way of doing it is open to debate. People take social media far too seriously.

The problem is that this is one of several incidents involving the Conservatives and their on line output. They are making Trump proud by using his tactics of constantly pushing the same lies in the hope that it becomes the truth to the electorate.
The way it is going in the USA it may not be Trump they will be negotiating a trade deal with and the democrats are not great supporters of Johnson because of his association Trump.

The Democrats have to come up with a credible candidate yet. The issue they have is Trump is very popular and he will be difficult to dislodge.

Like political parties spending tens of thousands on social media campaigns and adverts? Why do you think they'd want to do that?
