They know that the press are following their every move, hell, they are "greeted" with paparazzi every morning when they leave home. Therefore, it's reasonable to assume that the difference in attire is a deliberate choice, perhaps to gain a reaction ??
You are old enough to remember Michael Foot at the cenotaph in his anorak and he just looked scruffy and disrespectful. Corbyn is no Michael Foot and his image has certainly improved since he became Labour leader but, to suggest that it's all down to the MSM is just naïve. As for joe public, of course, they can do as they please. Politicians have to follow the rules or they risk making the front pages, it's their choice.
Back on Brexit, it seems like JRM and Boris have decided that the game is up and we may actually see MV3 getting through. What an absolute bunch of pillocks we have "running" the country.
Who defines "properly?" Especially in this era of poppy police, wherein millions of people who do sod all to mark the remembrance, feel fully empowered to criticise the size, colour, location or other indicator of appropriateness of the poppies that public figures display, when all they've done themselves is put a meme on Facebook?
It sounds like you are also old enough to remember Michael Foot, which makes your slavish adherence to the 'rules' of style over substance even more surprising.
Yes - it was always going to be so - eventually, these people will choose self-interest over the national interest *every* time; Mogg has some offshore tax issues to secure, and Johnson still wants to lead the rotten party he represents.
The last best hope is a GE - which is looking increasingly likely; and as even Mrs May's official stenographer Laura Kuenssberg said yesterday, it looks more and more like Mr Corbyn has played a blinder.

boring old man, you make Victor Meldrew look happy. We get it, you are a rampant marxist socialist, Corbyn will never win an election, the man is a terrorist sympathiser, along with most of his front bench.

I'm neither old, miserable or a Marxist - so I'm unsure how you "get it?"
I am a socialist however - which means that despite your insulting, misanthropic outlook on life, I even care about you; crazy isn't it?

SOCIALISM DOES NOT WORK
Will do - it's a relief actually when people self-declare like that; destroying the world is quite time-consuming, so one less person to give a $h1t about is a handy time management aid.

So, the right wing of the Government, have had one last roll of the dice! Vote May’s deal through, get shut of the former, install hard-liner then, tell the E.U. all bets are off –
Hard Brexit through the back door.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!

happy to help, you spout utter rubbish in most posts, it's a shame we can't recycle posts.

Which of the 16 votes (which I admit not knowing the detail of) will our corrupt parliament go for?
