I was just pointing out we were still in the EU and as far as I know still paying them. How much it will get when/if we do leave is a debate for another day.

With the likely impact of leaving with no deal and just how close we already are to recession, we could be looking at yet more austerity, although the Tories wont mind cutting help for "scroungers and wasters"
The blind hope (stupidity) of the Tory elite is extremely worrying.
Time after time, they ignore the wisdom of the Governor of the Bank of England and other "well thought of economists and push ever harder for a no deal exit.
Fortunately, it appears that Boris may not have a working majority for much longer and hopefully a vote of no confidence can save us and although the aftermath, with the mother of all hung parliaments will be messy, it will still be more preferable than crashing and burning.

You forget that the people of this country have had enough of experts.

Yes those pesky experts, specialising in their given field, they’ve had enough of them. I’m sure those people would be perfectly happy with an untrained novice as the pilot on a plane they fly on or as the surgeon operating on them.

Michael Gove could fly a fighter jet whilst carrying out a heart transplant. Simples.

I'm sorry guys but Google" IMF get it wrong again" and you'll see why so many people take what these "experts" say with a huge pinch of salt. Some of them, I am convinced, are working to their own agenda.

Only some of them, jeez, they're all at it!

Even when we leave the E.U. and as forecast everything turns to dust, instead of "Project Fear" all we will hear then is "It's only short term pain, for long term gain".

The pound has already tanked & will drop further, all imports will cost even more, but hey, at least Dyson & Co will still have strong trading figures.

But at least the public gets what the public wants, or so they think.

It's just a shame that all those who voted for this debacle should have had a letter B drawn on their arm with indelible ink, just so they can't deny it in the future (I'm a bit of a hardliner)

“ But at least the public gets what the public wants,“

Obviously not . The majority voted leave . .....The UK Government ignored that majority .

The Country protests . So NO the public of the UK didn’t get what they wanted ....

Not true 17 million voted leave out of 66 million.
49 million did not vote leave.
