Aw bloody hell. The flames extinguished. That really is it. What a time it's been.

Suggested that there is going to be some sort of torch relay with the flames that were lit from the flame. If that makes any sense. Not sure what the plan is.

Either way, having watched Last Night of the Proms yesterday, the mash up of Jay Z, Rhianna and Coldplay is an embarrassment by comparison. I can't believe this is the best we could do.

Jay Z. He's the best at talking over another person's talent in the world. Apparantly.

Gutted it's all over. It's been spectacular

It's not all over. There is a parade tomorrow which will make the one after the 2003 'Rugby' World Cup look small fry. Newspapers and magazines will ensure you never hear the end of it.

Give it a month and highlights DVDs will be hitting the shops in time for Christmas. Plus the Olympics will be the focus of any '2012 - Year in Review' type programmes.

But yea, I am gutted too. I was fairly indifferent in the run up to London 2012. But once it started I loved it.
