Three nights in the middle of peak season? Anywhere decent is going to be well booked up, the vast majority will have a seven night minimum stay this time of year.

yeah i know, bit of a last minute decision

How many and to where, I know of a 2 person studio in Staithes that rent per night even in peak season.

Otherwise why not look at budget hotels or the likes of city lets for nightly apartment lettings in major cities ?
