smithers123:
I'm back !
After struggling to get access back to this forum for the last year; I finally got readmitted today.
But the VERY first thing I saw today was that this forum is closing permanently on 28th February. You couldn't make it up ... my timing.
Anyway, what are the best alternatives going forward? I'm assuming the Total Rugby League forum; is there anywhere else? I find (when its working) this RLFANS site with separate focused threads is a better environment. TRL is pretty much a single thread for London (with some reference in match day threads etc). I think it (the London Broncos thread) is about to hit 200 pages any post now. That is too long to follow comfortably. I don't think the Admin like new threads (and I get that to an extent; there needs to be a balance). The London 199 page thread has been merged, so there were attempts to start separate threads.
I guess I need to make use of this site before it expires in a few weeks.
Yes really frustrating as it’s been a really good forum over the years; an opportunity to have a good old moan and a laugh. Especially sad as we will probably have lots of things to discuss and lots of positives. However, we are where we are. The TOTALRL site covers a lot of different topics and lacks the ability to focus on one club’s antics so doesn’t really fit the bill but I don’t have any alternatives. What a life!
